Bills the Nepal way

A proper VAT bill, every time.

Nepal menus show one price that already includes VAT and service charge. Restro Grow keeps that price and works the parts out of it on the bill, so the customer pays exactly what the menu says.

  • VAT 13% and your PAN on every bill, under the heading "Tax Invoice".
  • Service charge as its own line, at the rate you set (usually 10%).
  • Prices include tax, or tax added on top: you choose.
  • Bill numbers in order that start again at 1 each fiscal year (1 Shrawan), and the date in Bikram Sambat next to the English date.

Everything in one

One system for the counter, the kitchen and online.

Most restaurants in Nepal use one tool for billing, another for the QR menu and nothing for bringing guests back. Restro Grow does all three.

POS billing

Fast billing by category, dine-in, takeaway and delivery, split and held bills, discounts, and printing on your thermal printer.

KOT to the kitchen

Orders go straight to the kitchen screen or printer as KOTs, with timers so nothing waits too long.

Table QR ordering

Guests scan the QR on the table, see the menu with photos and order. The order reaches your POS and kitchen.

Your own ordering website

Your menu, your logo, your link. Takeaway and delivery orders with no commission on your own orders.

Loyalty and WhatsApp

Points, gifts and birthday offers sent on WhatsApp to +977 numbers, so first-time guests become regulars.

Inventory, staff and reports

Stock by recipe, staff logins for waiters and cashiers, and daily sales reports on your phone.

Pay by QR

Show your Fonepay, eSewa or Khalti QR on the bill and at checkout on your website, and record each bill by how it was paid.

Many outlets, one login

Run several branches from one login with each branch's sales side by side, and one website for all of them.

Menu in Nepali

Show your dish names and descriptions in Nepali on the QR menu and your website.

Questions from Nepal

Asked by restaurant owners in Nepal.

Can I print VAT bills with my PAN in Nepal?

Yes. Bills show "Tax Invoice", VAT 13%, your PAN number, the taxable amount and the service charge, with bill numbers that restart each fiscal year on 1 Shrawan and the date in Bikram Sambat.

Is Restro Grow IRD certified?

Not yet. If your restaurant must use IRD-certified billing software, talk to us first and we will tell you exactly where our certification stands before you sign up.

Can my menu prices include VAT and service charge?

Yes. Switch on "Prices include tax" and the bill works the VAT and the service charge out of your menu price, as Nepal rules expect, so the customer pays exactly the price on the menu.

Can customers pay with eSewa, Khalti or Fonepay?

Yes, by QR. Add your Fonepay, eSewa or Khalti QR once and it shows on the bill and at checkout on your website, and the cashier marks the bill paid by that method.

Does it work in Kathmandu, Pokhara and outside the valley?

Yes. Restro Grow runs in the browser and on Android and iPhone, so any restaurant with internet can use it. Bills still print if the internet drops for a moment.

How much does Restro Grow cost in Nepal?

From Rs. 4,800 a month for 1 to 5 tables, Rs. 8,000 for 6 to 20 tables and Rs. 16,000 for several outlets, with a free trial and no setup fee.
